In-Progress Quilt 2/25/22

This weekend's in-progress patchwork quilt, featuring my two favorite colors: blue and purple. I'll be piecing everything together over the next few days, fortunately it is only a throw size blanket, so I do not have many squares to sew. For this quilt I am using a few different charm pack prints, one which contained the solid purple squares, and the other contains the watercolor florals, plus the solid watercolor blocks. (For those who are not aware, a charm pack is a set of precut quilting fabric squares; most quilting specialty stores will sell them, or you can purchase them from various Etsy stores). I will be adding a large border around this quilt, so stay tuned for the progress updates. I have not decided on a backing or quilt top pattern yet, but will probably decide in the next two week or so.
